Oracle Technical Lead – Lead Oracle Development Teams

About the role

HTS Group is seeking an Oracle Technical Lead to drive the technical delivery of its Oracle‑based enterprise solutions. The role will provide leadership for multidisciplinary teams developing Oracle Forms & Reports, Oracle APEX, and database components, ensuring projects meet quality, performance and client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise Oracle development teams across the full software lifecycle.
• Design, develop, enhance and maintain Oracle Forms & Reports applications.
• Design, develop and maintain Oracle APEX enterprise systems.
• Write, review and optimise complex PL/SQL code and database objects for performance and scalability.
• Manage migration and modernisation from Forms & Reports to APEX where required.
• Coordinate project delivery, align technical execution with timelines and milestones.
• Govern SDLC activities including planning, testing (QA/UAT), release and deployment.
• Oversee technical environments – Oracle databases, application servers and deployment infrastructure.
• Conduct architecture reviews, enforce coding standards, performance tuning and security best practices.
• Act as primary technical liaison with clients and stakeholders.
• Mentor team members and promote continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven expertise in Oracle technologies (Forms & Reports, APEX, Database, PL/SQL).
• Experience leading multidisciplinary development teams on complex digital transformation projects.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, testing and release management.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to clients and stakeholders.
• Track record of modernising legacy Oracle applications.
