OT Security Senior Associate

About the role

PwC is opening a new Technology and Innovation Centre in Cairo offering services such as SAP and Oracle applications, cybersecurity, data analytics, custom development and cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google), as well as expanding its managed services. This role is a Senior Associate in the Cybersecurity and Privacy advisory practice, supporting the leadership and management of the new practice while delivering cybersecurity and cyber risk assignments to clients.

Key responsibilities

• Take an active part in the delivery team and support the leadership and management of the new practice
• Work with a global mindset alongside teams in the UK, Germany and other Middle Eastern countries
• Deliver cybersecurity and cyber risk assignments, including documentation and reports, and quality assure the work of junior team members
• Keep abreast of business and industry trends affecting cyber risk responses
• Advise clients pragmatically on complex, risk-driven cyber decisions
• Build client relationships and establish credibility through knowledge of OT security
• Support senior colleagues in client proposals, solution offerings, toolkits, methodologies and accelerators

Required profile

• At least 3 years of relevant work experience
• Experience in consulting or in multinational environments
• University degree, preferably in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity or related fields
• Excellent oral and written English; German is a significant plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, unstructured environment and to multi-task and prioritise
• Self-starter attitude and independence

Required skills

• Expert strategy, risk and technical advice on cybersecurity for operational technology
• Reviewing and designing OT architectures from a cybersecurity perspective
• Cybersecurity policies, standards and procedures, and standards such as ISA/IEC 62443, OFGEM and NERC CIP
• Industrial control systems (ICS) and IIoT, and cyber risk assessments on OT environments
• Network security and solid experience with Wireshark
• OT OEM background or certification such as GICSP or ISA99; ISA/IEC 62443 or ICS410 certifications are a significant plus
