Packaging Engineer I

About the role

As a Packaging Engineer I you will join Mondelēz International’s R&D Packaging team, supporting the design and deployment of packaging solutions for new and existing snack products across multiple regions. Working within cross‑functional teams, you will help ensure that packaging meets consumer expectations, regulatory standards and manufacturing requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Organise and execute packaging R&D projects in line with marketing, manufacturing and regulatory guidelines.
• Generate packaging information through sampling, supplier coordination, pilot‑plant and factory trials while adhering to GMP and HACCP standards.
• Develop and scale‑up packaging designs, specifications and commissioning activities.
• Prepare technical reports, analyse test data and provide recommendations for packaging improvements.
• Maintain accurate packaging specifications and contribute to intellectual property creation.
