Payroll Specialist – Full‑time, Cairo

About the role

We are looking for a Payroll Specialist to join our HR team in Cairo. You will be responsible for end‑to‑end payroll processing and ensuring compliance with Egyptian labor regulations. The role requires strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.

Key responsibilities

• Manage monthly payroll processing, including salaries, overtime, bonuses, commissions, incentives, deductions and final settlements.
• Ensure compliance with Egyptian Labor Law, Social Insurance and Income Tax regulations.
• Maintain accurate employee payroll data and coordinate with HR/HRIS on employee changes.
• Prepare payroll reports, reconciliations and payroll‑related journal entries.
• Handle employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
• Coordinate with banks for salary transfer files and address payment issues.
• Support payroll audits and statutory submissions.
• Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes, controls and reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in end‑to‑end payroll, preferably in a multinational or large organization.
• Strong knowledge of Egyptian payroll, social insurance and income tax regulations.
• Advanced analytical skills, high confidentiality and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Payroll certification is a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, data analysis).
• Experience with SAP payroll modules.
