People Operations Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a People Operations Specialist to support our store teams across the employee lifecycle. You will partner with Operations and HR teams to ensure smooth onboarding, retention, performance management and engagement for store staff.

Key responsibilities

• Manage onboarding for new store employees and conduct exit interviews to uncover turnover drivers.
• Analyse attrition data and assist in action‑planning initiatives to improve retention and stabilise store operations.
• Support the People Operations Manager in annual people cycles, including performance reviews, promotions, pay reviews and manpower planning.
• Own manpower planning for assigned stores, coordinating staffing plans with Operations and executing related system transactions.
• Partner with Operations to develop talent, identify high‑potential employees, and implement performance improvement plans.
• Design and deliver employee engagement activities such as on‑floor events, town halls, reward & recognition programmes and experience initiatives.
• Liaise with Employee Relations to handle grievances, investigations and ensure compliance with policies and labour regulations.
• Coordinate with P&C Core Operations and TAAPs on staff inquiries, payroll questions and benefits administration.

Required profile

• 3–4 years of HR experience in a warehouse, factory or similar environment.
• Background in e‑commerce, quick‑commerce, fintech, FMCG or retail is preferred.
• Strong stakeholder‑management abilities and proven relationship‑building skills.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decisions.
