Performance Management Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Performance Management Specialist to build and run our performance management system from the ground up. The role will partner with department heads to define measurable goals, drive appraisal cycles and provide data‑driven insights to senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and continuously improve the company’s Performance Management System, including KPIs, appraisal forms and competency frameworks.
• Collaborate with managers to set SMART KPIs and performance objectives for every position.
• Oversee the full performance appraisal cycle, ensuring timely completion and compliance with timelines.
• Train managers on evaluation techniques and monitor review completion rates.
• Analyse performance data, create dashboards and reports for management.
• Identify performance gaps, coordinate development plans and follow up on Performance Improvement Plans.
• Maintain accurate, confidential employee performance records.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in performance management, organizational development or HR.
• Proven experience designing and implementing performance management systems.
• Strong analytical, reporting and organizational skills.
• High level of integrity and confidentiality.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with HRIS systems.
