Performance Tester – Senior Associate (ETIC)

About the role

The Senior Associate Performance Tester will lead performance testing initiatives for complex systems within PwC's Advisory practice. This role combines advanced scripting, deep analysis, and close collaboration with architects and DevOps teams to ensure applications meet rigorous performance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement comprehensive performance test strategies covering load, stress, and endurance scenarios.
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks using tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner and Blazemeter.
• Analyze test results, identify bottlenecks, and provide actionable optimization recommendations.
• Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines in partnership with DevOps.
• Define service level agreements (SLAs), key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting standards for performance metrics.
• Mentor junior testers and enforce best‑practice testing methodologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 4–6 years of hands‑on experience in performance testing and engineering.
• Strong understanding of system architecture and cloud environments.
• ISTQB Advanced Level or Performance Engineering certification is preferred.
