Performance Tester - Senior Associate

About the role

PwC's Advisory practice in Cairo is hiring a Senior Associate Performance Tester within its Technology line of service. The role leads performance testing efforts, mentors junior testers and ensures robust test strategies for complex systems, involving advanced scripting, analysis and optimization.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement comprehensive performance test strategies.
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks for load, stress and endurance testing.
• Analyze test results, identify bottlenecks and recommend optimizations.
• Collaborate with architects and DevOps teams to integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Define SLAs, KPIs and reporting standards for performance metrics.
• Mentor junior testers and enforce best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 4-6 years of experience in performance testing and engineering.
• Strong programming skills and knowledge of system architecture.
• Experience with APM tools and cloud environments.
• ISTQB Advanced Level or Performance Engineering certification preferred.
