Pharmacist – Community Pharmacy (Cairo)

About the role

El Ezaby Pharmacy is seeking a full‑time, on‑site Pharmacist to join its Cairo team. You will be responsible for dispensing prescription and over‑the‑counter medications accurately while providing clear guidance on usage, dosage, and potential side effects.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense medications and verify prescription accuracy.
• Counsel patients on medication use, health, and wellness.
• Maintain up‑to‑date patient records and collaborate with physicians when needed.
• Monitor inventory, check product quality and expiry dates.
• Participate in internal training programs and uphold service and safety standards.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of pharmacology, therapeutics, and drug interactions.
• Excellent patient counseling and communication abilities.
• High attention to detail in dispensing, documentation, and inventory management.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced retail pharmacy environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm or equivalent) and a valid pharmacist license in Egypt.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Previous experience in community or retail pharmacy is preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with pharmacy information systems.
• Basic computer skills.
• Familiarity with standard office applications.
