Pharmacist – Community Pharmacy (Cairo)

About the role

Al Fouad Pharmacies is seeking a full‑time Pharmacist to work on‑site at its Cairo locations. You will be responsible for dispensing medications accurately, reviewing prescriptions for safety and appropriateness, and providing clear counseling to clients on usage, side effects, and interactions.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense prescription and over‑the‑counter medicines with precision.
• Review prescriptions for appropriateness, safety, and potential drug interactions.
• Provide patient‑centered counseling on medication use, side effects, and health promotion.
• Maintain medication inventory, ensure proper storage conditions, and manage stock levels.
• Comply with all pharmacy regulations, quality standards, and safety procedures.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and assist customers with medical and cosmetic product inquiries.
• Participate in health‑awareness initiatives and support insurance‑related processes.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of pharmacy services.

Required profile

• Licensed Pharmacist (or eligibility for licensure in Egypt) with a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology, therapeutics, and drug interactions.
• Excellent communication in Arabic; basic English is preferred.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and serve diverse customer needs.
• Willingness to work shifts and weekends as required.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.

Required skills

• Experience using POS tools.
• Inventory management capabilities.
