Pharmacist – Community Pharmacy

About the role

The Pharmacist position at Youssef Fady Pharmacy is a full‑time, on‑site role located in Qesm 1st El Salam. You will be responsible for ensuring safe, accurate dispensing of medications while providing clear counseling to patients about proper use, side effects, and interactions.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense medications accurately and verify prescription appropriateness.
• Review prescriptions for drug interactions and therapeutic suitability.
• Maintain up‑to‑date patient records and counsel patients on medication use.
• Manage inventory, monitor stock levels, and ensure proper storage and disposal of drugs.
• Collaborate with prescribers and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
• Support implementation of pharmacy policies, procedures, and compliance standards.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, and therapeutic uses.
• Ability to interpret prescriptions and dosage instructions with high attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills for patient counseling and teamwork.
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or PharmD and a valid pharmacist license as required locally.
• Commitment to ethical practice, patient confidentiality, and regulatory compliance.
• Organizational skills and ability to work accurately in a fast‑paced environment.
