Pharmacy Operations Specialist

About the role

Bask Health is building the infrastructure behind telehealth, starting with a large, accurate and compliant retail, specialty and compounding pharmacy (503A and 503B) network. It is looking for a Pharmacy Operations Specialist to ensure medication accuracy, pharmacy partner success and operational excellence at scale. The role suits someone who enjoys pharmacy, compliance and data quality in a fast-paced startup environment.

Key responsibilities

• Keep pharmacy-facing data for 50,000+ compounded medications complete and accurate (name, strength, route, dosage, ingredients, refills, NDC/product ID)
• Identify and resolve mismatches between backend pharmacy instructions and fix the internal medication taxonomy
• Support vetting and onboarding of new pharmacy partners on price, turnaround time, licensure, offerings and compliance, and maintain partner records
• Act as day-to-day contact for partners, routing questions and resolving minor issues
• Track compliance with NABP, DEA and state regulations, flag risks and help write compliance documentation and SOPs
• Support error and adverse event reporting tools, log provider and client issues, and take part in root cause analysis
• Follow defined workflows, suggest improvements to SOPs and tooling, and work with product, clinical and compliance teams

Required profile

• 2-6 years of experience in pharmacy operations, healthcare data systems or EHR/PBM environments
• Exposure to compounding pharmacies or telehealth preferred but not required
• Familiarity with pharmacy regulations (NABP, DEA, state rules)
• Detailed, systematic approach to structured data and SOPs
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in a startup or lean team
• Bonus: PharmD or clinical credentials (not required)
