PhD Peer Reviewer – Integrative & Complementary Medicine

About the role

We are seeking experienced researchers with a PhD to join our editorial team as part‑time peer reviewers for manuscripts in integrative and complementary medicine. This is a long‑term, stable position that can be performed remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Assess the novelty and scientific contribution of submitted manuscripts.
• Evaluate study design, methodology, and reproducibility.
• Check literature reviews for completeness and relevance.
• Analyze results and conclusions for clarity and validity.
• Provide constructive, written feedback to authors.
• Recommend acceptance, revision, or rejection to the journal editor.

Required profile

• Doctorate (PhD or equivalent) in a relevant discipline.
• At least five peer‑reviewed papers published in SCI/SSCI journals within the past three years.
• Strong understanding of research methods and ethical standards.
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and written communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and maintain confidentiality.
• Prior experience as a journal peer reviewer is highly desirable.
