Phlebotomist (Full-time, On-site)

About the role

ALMehwar Hospital is seeking a full‑time, on‑site Phlebotomist to join its laboratory team in Qesm 2nd, 6 October City. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting blood samples with precision and providing courteous service to patients.

Key responsibilities

• Perform venous and capillary blood collection procedures following established protocols.
• Label, handle, and transport specimens to the laboratory while maintaining sample integrity.
• Ensure the work area remains clean, sterile, and compliant with safety standards.
• Communicate clearly with patients, explaining procedures and addressing concerns.
• Collaborate closely with nurses, physicians, and laboratory staff to support seamless operations.

Required profile

• Proficiency in blood collection and basic laboratory techniques.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and medical‑assisting practices.
• Basic understanding of medical protocols and patient care.
• Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in handling samples.
• Compassionate communication skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Certification or formal training in phlebotomy is preferred.
• Prior experience in a healthcare setting is an advantage.
