Plant Operations Manager – Manufacturing

About the role

The Plant Operations Manager will lead daily activities in a manufacturing environment, ensuring smooth workflow across all stages of production. This senior role requires strong leadership to drive performance, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily plant operations and coordinate all operating stages.
• Manage supervisors, ensuring effective execution by frontline workers.
• Monitor production, quality, and compliance KPIs via dashboards and reports.
• Identify root causes of performance gaps, implement corrective actions, and prevent recurrence.
• Maintain high standards of organization, cleanliness, and discipline within the plant.
• Train, schedule, counsel, and evaluate supervisors and team members.
• Coordinate equipment, facility, maintenance, and resource needs.
• Report progress, issues, risks, and improvement recommendations to management.
• Support operational improvements, seasonal workload planning, and future expansion.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in operations, factories, warehouses, logistics, or similar environments.
• Proven experience managing large teams and supervising shift leaders.
• Strong ability to enforce SOPs, quality standards, and compliance rules.
• Excellent analytical skills to read reports, analyze KPIs, and translate data into actions.
• Backgrounds in hotels, large restaurants, warehouses, factories, logistics, or service operations are preferred.
