Plastic Extrusion & Injection Supervisor

About the role

The Plastic Extrusion & Injection Supervisor leads daily operations of extrusion and injection molding lines, ensuring production targets for quantity, quality, and safety are met. This role bridges production management and shop‑floor teams, driving efficient workflows and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Organise and supervise work shifts, verify raw material and tool availability, and confirm machine settings for each order.
• Monitor in‑process product quality, supervise mold changes, and enforce safety and quality standards.
• Record production data, track yield and scrap rates, and investigate root causes of losses.
• Coordinate with Maintenance to minimise breakdowns and with Quality to resolve product rejections.
• Enforce occupational health, safety, and environmental standards, maintaining a clean and orderly work area.
• Suggest and implement process improvements to reduce setup time, waste, and enhance productivity.

Required profile

• Technical Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
• 5–8 years of experience in extrusion and injection molding operations, including at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
• Strong leadership, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities under pressure.
