Policy Consultant - Remote

About the role

We are seeking a Policy Consultant to work remotely, applying your expertise to shape the development of next‑generation AI systems. You will translate complex regulatory, legal, healthcare, academic or financial requirements into clear, actionable policies that guide model behavior and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze, draft, and review policy documents, legal contracts, proposals and research papers using advanced Word and PDF functionalities.
• Provide strategic advice and actionable recommendations on regulatory, legal, healthcare, academic or finance‑related matters.
• Conduct thorough document reviews to ensure compliance, clarity and adherence to industry best practices.
• Support clients with precise document formatting, tracked changes, form filling and data extraction.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to synthesize complex data into succinct policies and procedures.
• Monitor evolving regulations and guidelines relevant to your area of expertise.
• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly in both written and verbal formats.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 + years of professional experience in government policy operations or related regulatory work.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a focus on professionalism.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet strict deadlines in a fast‑paced remote environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high‑quality deliverables.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word (tracked changes, formatting, document review).
• Advanced proficiency with PDF editing tools (form filling, data extraction).
