About the role

GEMS British International School of Madinaty is looking for a passionate Primary Y4 Homeroom Teacher for the academic year 2026‑2027. You will deliver high‑quality British Curriculum lessons and create a supportive, inclusive classroom where every student can thrive.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver dynamic lessons that meet the needs of diverse learners.
• Implement differentiated teaching approaches to ensure all students can succeed.
• Use assessment data to monitor progress and inform instruction.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom culture.
• Maintain effective communication with parents, colleagues, and school leaders.
• Participate in professional development and contribute to the school community.
• Adhere to all school policies, including safeguarding standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Primary Education or a related field.
• Recognised teaching qualification such as QTS, PGCE, or equivalent.
• 2‑3 years of teaching experience, preferably within the British Curriculum.
• Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to student welfare.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
• Passion for teaching and dedication to student success.
