Private Relationship Manager / Senior Relationship Manager

About the role

The Private Relationship Manager (RM) and Senior Relationship Manager (SRM) will drive growth of the Private division by managing existing high‑net‑worth client portfolios, acquiring new‑to‑bank (NTB) customers, and delivering comprehensive financial advice. The role focuses on maximizing revenue, increasing market penetration, and providing an exceptional client experience.

Key responsibilities

• Build and expand a portfolio of private clients, targeting growth in client numbers, assets under management, and revenue in line with the department’s business plan.
• Provide end‑to‑end after‑sales service, addressing enquiries and resolving client issues promptly.
• Maintain dedicated relationships by continuously assessing clients’ financial needs and managing their portfolios with appropriate private‑banking products.
• Communicate market updates and the bank’s investment strategy to clients, fostering trust and positioning the bank as a preferred investment partner.
• Identify unmet client needs and collaborate with the Private segment team to develop tailored investment solutions, including funds, treasury bills, bonds, and international advisory services.
• Conduct financial risk profiling, asset allocation, and portfolio re‑balancing while ensuring up‑to‑date KYC information.
• Drive client upgrades to the Private segment and achieve cross‑selling targets to enhance profitability.
• Source new business opportunities and attract new‑to‑bank customers.

Required profile

• 8–12 years of experience in private banking, wealth management, or a related financial services segment with P&L responsibility.
• Strong communication abilities across marketing, sales, and finance functions.
• Critical thinking and a proven track record of developing innovative solutions.
