Procurement Clerk – Hotel Procurement Management

About the role

Portaluna, the first Morgans Originals hotel in Egypt, is seeking a Procurement Clerk to build and lead the end‑to‑end procurement function for its Ras El Hekma property. You will shape sourcing strategy, establish supplier networks, and ensure that all goods and services meet the brand’s ultra‑luxury standards from pre‑opening through daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement the full procurement framework, including policies, workflows, approval processes, and governance structures.
• Lead sourcing and procurement for FF&E, OS&E, services, and all operational requirements for the hotel launch.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard local and international suppliers aligned with brand standards and project timelines.
• Collaborate with design, project, finance, and operations teams to align specifications, budgets, and delivery schedules.
• Develop procurement tracking systems, reporting tools, and dashboards for transparency and control.
• Manage day‑to‑day procurement activities, supplier performance, contract negotiations, and commercial agreements.
• Monitor budgets, purchase orders, and spend analysis to support financial discipline.
• Ensure timely delivery of goods and services to support seamless hotel operations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with regional and global suppliers, driving accountability and continuous improvement.
• Uphold Portaluna and Morgans Originals brand standards, promote ethical sourcing, sustainability, and compliance with local regulations.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.
• Proven experience in procurement, preferably within the hospitality or luxury retail sector.
• Strong understanding of FF&E, OS&E, and service procurement for hotels.
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate contracts, manage supplier performance, and control budgets.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
