Procurement Clerk

About the role

Portaluna, the first Morgans Originals hotel in Egypt, is seeking a Procurement Clerk to build and lead the end‑to‑end procurement function for its new property in Ras El Hekma. You will shape the sourcing strategy, establish supplier networks, and ensure that all goods and services meet the brand’s ultra‑luxury standards from pre‑opening through daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop the full procurement framework, including policies, workflows, approval processes, and governance structures.
• Lead sourcing and procurement for FF&E, OS&E, services, and operational requirements for the hotel launch.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard local and international suppliers aligned with brand standards and project timelines.
• Collaborate with design, project, finance, and operations teams to align specifications, budgets, and delivery schedules.
• Create procurement tracking systems, reporting tools, and dashboards for transparency and control.
• Manage day‑to‑day procurement activities, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and cost effectiveness.
• Oversee supplier performance, contract negotiations, and commercial agreements.
• Monitor budgets, purchase orders, and spend analysis to support financial discipline.
• Maintain strong relationships with regional and global suppliers and act as a commercial partner to all hotel departments.
• Ensure all procurement activity reflects Portaluna and Morgans Originals brand standards, promotes ethical sourcing, sustainability, and complies with local regulations.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration or a related field.
