Procurement Engineer (Entry Level)

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Procurement Engineer to join our expanding team in Katameya, Cairo. This entry‑level position offers the chance to work on construction, civil and mechanical/electrical projects, handling the full procurement cycle and supporting engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and reviewing technical specifications for materials and equipment.
• Manage the procurement cycle from vendor identification and qualification to bid analysis and contract negotiation.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure timely delivery of procured items.
• Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and assess capabilities.
• Support cost‑analysis initiatives to optimise spending while maintaining quality.
• Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships and ensure compliance with company policies.

Required profile

• Solid foundational knowledge of engineering principles in construction, civil, mechanical or electrical disciplines.
• 1‑2 years of relevant experience in engineering or procurement.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality control.
