Procurement Lead

About the role

The Procurement Lead is responsible for developing and executing the procurement strategy for indirect materials and services across the factory. This role ensures timely sourcing of critical spares, MRO supplies, and general operational needs while collaborating with multiple internal functions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage the procurement strategy for indirect materials and services.
• Ensure timely sourcing and availability of critical spares, MRO supplies, and general factory requirements.
• Coordinate with maintenance, engineering, HSE, and administration to identify and fulfill indirect needs.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with local and international suppliers to optimize cost, quality, and delivery terms.
• Align pricing, contract, and payment terms with company policies.
• Collaborate closely with planning, production, quality, and warehouse teams to ensure end‑to‑end supply efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, industrial engineering, or a related field.
• 4–7 years of experience in indirect material procurement, preferably within the food or FMCG industry.
