Procurement Operations Senior Specialist

About the role

The Procurement Operations Senior Specialist will own the end‑to‑end procurement lifecycle, ensuring materials and services are sourced on time, within budget, and in full compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. This role works closely with Planning, Warehouse, Finance and internal user departments to guarantee seamless fulfillment of operational needs.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full procurement process from purchase order creation to closure, maintaining accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate daily procurement activities with cross‑functional teams to meet material and service demand.
• Ensure procurement actions align with approved budgets, contracts and operational priorities.
• Maintain complete and accurate procurement documentation for invoice clearance, supplier payments and audit readiness.
• Monitor PO vs. invoice dates, resolve discrepancies with Finance, and enforce tax and internal control rules.
• Oversee supplier relationships, ensuring on‑time delivery, contractual compliance and quality standards.
• Support contract execution, risk mitigation and supplier performance evaluations.
• Identify and implement process improvements to boost efficiency, strengthen controls and reduce costs.
• Utilise ERP systems and digital tools to keep procurement records accurate and transparent.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• 3–4 years of experience in Procurement Operations, preferably in Direct Procurement or a similar environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
