Procurement Specialist – FMCG

About the role

We are looking for a Procurement Specialist to manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and support the supply chain for a fast‑moving consumer goods (FMCG) environment. The role works closely with production, warehouse, and finance teams to ensure seamless purchasing operations.

Key responsibilities

• Identify reliable suppliers, compare offers, and negotiate contracts.
• Coordinate daily with production, warehouse, and finance to avoid gaps in the supply chain.
• Use Odoo ERP to create purchase orders, update supplier data, and maintain accurate records.
• Monitor inventory levels, flag potential shortages, and work with finance to track costs and align payments with accounting standards.
• Stay informed on market trends in FMCG to make data‑driven purchasing decisions.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain, Business or related field.
• 3‑5 years of procurement experience, preferably in FMCG.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and ability to collaborate with finance teams.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Organised, proactive and able to work under pressure.

Required skills

• Practical experience with Odoo ERP (procurement, inventory, finance modules).
