Procurement Specialist

About the role

Powerline is seeking a Procurement Specialist to manage the end‑to‑end sourcing of electrical and industrial components for its manufacturing operations in 10th of Ramadan, Egypt. The role ensures timely availability of materials, supports production schedules, and contributes to cost‑optimization initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, issue, and track purchase orders for electrical and industrial parts using ERP or similar systems.
• Monitor inventory levels and demand forecasts, coordinating with engineering, production, and finance teams.
• Evaluate suppliers, compare offers, and conduct contract negotiations to secure favorable commercial and delivery terms.
• Maintain procurement records, generate reports, and ensure compliance with company standards.
• Analyse market trends, identify new suppliers, and drive continuous improvement in sourcing processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in full‑cycle procurement within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Strong ability to assess supplier quality, reliability, and cost‑effectiveness.
• Solid analytical skills for data‑driven decision making, cost analysis, and market research.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering or related field preferred.
