Product Engineer – FPGA Prototyping

About the role

Siemens EDA is looking for a highly motivated Product Engineer to drive the definition, promotion, and deployment of hardware‑assisted acceleration using Veloce proFPGA CS prototyping solutions. You will work with leading semiconductor and systems customers on cutting‑edge pre‑ and post‑silicon validation, verification, and software bring‑up for complex SoC and FPGA designs.

Key responsibilities

• Support Application Engineers and customers in integrating, configuring, and debugging interface solutions on the proFPGA CS platform.
• Enable and troubleshoot PCIe, Ethernet, flash, and other extension boards on Xilinx VP1902 FPGAs.
• Configure and debug Xilinx IP to ensure seamless board integration.
• Promote prototyping technologies through hands‑on technical expertise and direct customer engagement.
• Build strong customer relationships and collaborate with sales, R&D, and product marketing teams.
• Author technical papers and present at industry conferences.

Required skills

• FPGA‑based design, implementation, and testing.
• Hands‑on experience with Xilinx Vivado for IP creation and integration.
• Knowledge of Xilinx VP1902, PCIe, Ethernet, and flash interfaces.
• Hardware debugging and validation on proFPGA CS platforms.
• Experience with Veloce proFPGA CS technology.
