Production Engineer – Flexible Shifts

About the role

We are looking for a Production Engineer to join our steel drum plant in Sadat City. The role works on flexible shifts and is responsible for optimizing resources, ensuring production schedules are met and maintaining high standards.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze, plan and control routine production schedules.
• Ensure a controlled flow of approved materials based on material requirement analytics.
• Estimate and schedule human resources, tools, and equipment needed for routine production processes.
• Research and evaluate changes to production processes, systems, technology, or equipment to enhance production capabilities.
• Optimize manufacturing at the site level and provide analytical support for operational excellence.
• Manage basic operational issues to conclusion and adapt priorities in a constantly evolving environment.
• Generate and review production reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or industrial engineering or equivalent.
• 2‑5 years of experience working with metal sheets.
• Good interpersonal skills and an analytical approach to complex issues.
• Strong attention to detail and solid research ability.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
• Knowledge of hydraulics.
• Knowledge of pneumatics.
