Production Engineer – Steel Manufacturing

About the role

Kandil Steel is seeking a Production Engineer to lead and optimise its steel sheet manufacturing operations in 10th of Ramadan City. The role focuses on maintaining high productivity while ensuring quality, safety and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and supervise production processes to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining quality and safety standards.
• Analyse production performance and identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality, and Planning teams to minimise downtime.
• Investigate production issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Prepare daily production reports and monitor production KPIs.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and operational procedures.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, efficiency, and reduce waste.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Production Engineering.
• 2–5 years of experience in the steel manufacturing industry.
• Knowledge of steel sheet manufacturing processes, especially coating and galvanising.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement concepts.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Leadership and effective communication skills.
