Production Internship – Factory Based

About the role

Join the L’Oréal Cairo Plant as a Production Intern, working directly on the factory floor to support manufacturing performance. You will be involved in real‑world projects that impact line efficiency, equipment reliability and waste reduction.

Key responsibilities

• Boost line efficiency by analysing OEE data, identifying bottlenecks and leading improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to develop and implement strategies that increase equipment reliability and minimise downtime.
• Investigate sources of waste on the production floor and propose practical solutions to enhance sustainability and cost‑effectiveness.
• Own a manufacturing improvement project from analysis and design through implementation and results tracking.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s programme in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering.
• Strong analytical mindset with a passion for solving problems on the factory floor.
• Proactive, adaptable and able to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Fluent in English and Arabic.
