Production Operator – Manufacturing (Alexandria, MN)

About the role
As a Production Operator you will join a diverse, innovative team at a leading manufacturing company. You will operate equipment that produces coated abrasives, belts, rolls and discs, following strict procedures to deliver high‑quality products to customers.
Key responsibilities
- Operate manufacturing and converting equipment to produce coated abrasives, belts, rolls and discs.
- Follow operating procedures and customer specifications to ensure product quality.
- Collaborate with the production team and other departments to meet production targets.
- Identify and implement continuous‑improvement initiatives to increase efficiency.
- Work third‑shift or rotating shift schedules, including weekends, overtime and holidays as needed.
Required profile
- High School Diploma/GED or higher.
- Willingness to work fixed third shift or rotating shift schedules.
- Reliable commute to Alexandria, MN or willingness to relocate.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Ability to pass 3M‑selected testing as part of the hiring process.
Required skills
- Manufacturing equipment operation.
- Computer operation.
