Production Pharmacist

About the role

We are looking for a Production Pharmacist to supervise the manufacturing of solid dosage forms such as tablets and capsules. The role ensures full compliance with GMP standards, meets production targets and maintains product quality, safety and efficiency throughout all stages of production.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise dispensing, granulation, blending, compression, coating and encapsulation operations.
• Execute production activities according to approved SOPs and Batch Manufacturing Records (BMRs).
• Monitor critical process parameters including blending time, compression force and coating conditions.
• Verify line clearance, maintain accurate batch documentation and review BMRs for completeness.
• Control environmental conditions (temperature, humidity, differential pressure) within defined limits.
• Ensure GMP, hygiene and safety compliance in the production area.
• Investigate deviations, report incidents and support CAPA implementation.
• Coordinate with QA, QC and Engineering to ensure smooth operations.
• Oversee equipment cleaning, sanitation and participate in process and cleaning validation activities.
• Monitor equipment performance, report malfunctions and suggest maintenance.
• Optimize processes to improve yield, reduce waste and increase efficiency.
• Train and supervise operators on SOPs, GMP and safety practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or a related scientific discipline.
• 0–2 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, preferably with solid dosage forms.
• Strong knowledge of GMP regulations and batch record documentation.
• Ability to work in a regulated environment and follow strict SOPs.
