Production Planning Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Production Planning Engineer to lead product‑related planning activities and work closely with outsourced manufacturing partners. The role ensures that products are manufactured in line with demand forecasts, BOM requirements and delivery commitments.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update Bills of Materials (BOM) for all product models, ensuring accuracy and alignment with engineering.
• Develop and maintain production plans based on sales forecasts, customer orders and inventory levels.
• Coordinate production schedules with contract manufacturers to guarantee on‑time delivery.
• Monitor material and component requirements, liaising with suppliers to avoid shortages.
• Track daily and weekly production progress, identify bottlenecks and drive corrective actions.
• Prepare production instructions, manufacturing guidelines and performance reports for management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Power) or Electrical Engineering – mandatory.
• 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in production planning, industrial engineering or supply‑chain operations.
• Experience with HVAC, air‑conditioning, home appliances or electrical equipment is a plus.
• Familiarity with OEM, ODM or contract manufacturing partners.
