Production Planning Manager

About the role

RIVERS WORLD is looking for an experienced Production Planning Manager to lead its apparel manufacturing operations in Nasr City. This full‑time, on‑site position will oversee the end‑to‑end planning process, ensuring that seasonal collections are produced on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and validate seasonal production plans (models, colors, quantities, delivery dates).
• Review technical packs, size charts and production files for readiness.
• Prepare preliminary costing sheets and allocate styles to appropriate factories based on capacity, fabric type, quality level and FOB/CMT system.
• Manage fabric, accessories, trims and label orders, coordinating with suppliers and the purchasing team.
• Approve production costs, negotiate factory agreements and monitor all approvals (fabrics, colors, samples, printing, embroidery).
• Track each production stage—from cutting to packing—and ensure on‑time shipment to the KSA branch.
• Lead the Planning team, conduct factory visits, evaluate new factories and vendors, and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 10+ years of experience in apparel planning and production follow‑up.
• 3‑5 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of FOB & CMT systems, garment production processes, fabrics, printing, embroidery and washing.
• Proven ability to create and manage detailed production schedules.
