Production Shift Leader

About the role

Saint‑Gobain, a global leader in sustainable construction solutions, is looking for experienced Production Shift Leaders to join its manufacturing plant in Sadat City, Egypt. The role is responsible for overseeing day‑to‑day production activities, ensuring a safe and stable operating environment, and driving performance against key manufacturing metrics.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure safe, stable and efficient plant performance.
• Lead daily production operations on the shop floor.
• Drive achievement of KPIs such as OEE, scrap rate, efficiency, downtime and quality.
• Act as the first‑line manager for shop‑floor personnel.
• Coordinate activities between production, maintenance, warehouse and quality departments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical or Industrial Engineering.
• 5–8 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in gypsum board, glass, FMCG or chemical industries.
• Strong knowledge of quality‑control processes and manufacturing safety standards.
• Proven problem‑solving ability with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Comprehensive understanding of end‑to‑end production processes.
