Production Supervisor – Food Pickles

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site position is based in Badar City, Cairo, and is responsible for supervising the daily production of food pickles. The Production Supervisor ensures that recipes, processes and quality standards are consistently applied while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and organise production schedules to meet output targets.
• Coordinate with supply‑chain, maintenance and quality teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor machinery performance, raw‑material usage and equipment downtime.
• Supervise, coach and evaluate production staff on performance and safety.
• Enforce food‑safety and hygiene protocols, including HACCP and GMP requirements.
• Prepare daily production reports and documentation.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives to reduce waste and increase efficiency.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising food‑production or processing lines, preferably pickles or canned foods.
• Strong knowledge of food‑safety standards such as HACCP, GMP or ISO.
• Ability to lead, train and motivate a shift‑based production team.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Food Science, Industrial Engineering, Production Management or related field (preferred).
• Familiarity with industrial food machinery and preventive‑maintenance coordination.
• Experience in Middle‑Eastern or Levantine food product manufacturing is a plus.
