Production Technician – Shift Based (Malta)

About the role

Baxter is seeking a Production Technician to join its Malta manufacturing site. The role is shift‑based and focuses on maintaining equipment availability, performing preventive and breakdown maintenance, and supporting new process installations.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out preventive and predictive maintenance on assigned production equipment.
• Respond to machine breakdowns, troubleshoot issues, and execute corrective actions.
• Support the Engineering team with installation, validation, and upgrades of new processes.
• Follow Baxter’s global and local procedures for all maintenance activities.
• Adhere to environmental, health, and safety SOPs and plant‑wide strategic programs.

Required profile

• Electrical qualification.
• Proven experience as a Production Technician or in a similar industrial manufacturing role.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, manuals, and technical drawings.
• Good physical condition and stamina for shift work.
• Understanding of safety regulations and procedures.
