Project Engineer, Chocolate Plant

About the role
You will support the planning, development and execution of capital projects for a chocolate manufacturing plant, ensuring that new equipment and processes meet Mondelēz’s high standards for quality, safety and sustainability. The role bridges regional engineering strategies with local plant execution, driving efficiency across the production line.
Key responsibilities
- Lead design, installation and commissioning of capital projects from feasibility studies through hand‑over.
- Develop accurate budgets, schedules and technical solutions in line with Mondelēz standards.
- Implement Early Management (EM) pillars to achieve immediate equipment performance.
- Collaborate with HSE, Quality and R&D to ensure compliance with global safety and hygiene requirements.
- Support the creation and rollout of state‑of‑the‑art processes and equipment strategies.
Required profile
- Degree or equivalent experience in engineering or operations.
- Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical mindset and project‑management experience.
- Commitment to safety‑first and food‑hygiene design principles.
