Project Engineer II

About the role

The Technical Project Engineer leads data design and model‑build activities for EcoStructure ADMS projects. You will work closely with clients to ensure that all required data from source systems is identified, mapped, integrated and validated to meet business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and extract data from SCADA, GIS, asset management systems, MDMS and other sources.
• Design and document ETL processes and data‑mapping specifications for ADMS.
• Lead data validation, migration, network model build, and SCADA model import activities.
• Troubleshoot model‑build issues, data‑integration problems and ADMS promotion challenges.
• Define and document data cut‑over and SCADA point‑to‑point testing procedures.
• Create functional specifications, detect requirement gaps and provide feedback to the Product Center.
• Approve test content, develop end‑to‑end test scenarios and improve them continuously.
• Perform triage of software defects reported by clients and communicate resolutions promptly.
• Collaborate with regional solution center teams to improve processes and share knowledge.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading data design, ETL and model‑build tasks in utility or power‑engineering projects.
• Strong understanding of ADMS concepts and client‑focused solution delivery.
• Ability to oversee project team actions, suggest corrections and mentor less‑experienced members.
• Commitment to continuous learning in power engineering, software engineering and IT.
