Project Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Project Engineer to oversee and coordinate on‑site engineering activities. The role involves supervising Site Engineers, tracking daily progress, and ensuring that project milestones are met while maintaining clear communication with all stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and assign work to Site Engineers in line with company policies and authority limits.
• Track daily site activities and ensure progress aligns with the project schedule.
• Prepare and deliver weekly project progress reports.
• Communicate effectively with contractors and suppliers to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues.
• Identify and resolve technical problems that arise on‑site.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and cost schedules.
• Maintain accurate records of all project activities and documentation.

Required profile

• Proven ability to monitor and assign work to engineering teams.
• Experience in tracking daily construction site progress.
• Capability to produce regular progress reports.
• Strong communication skills with contractors and suppliers.
• Problem‑solving aptitude for on‑site technical issues.
• Familiarity with budget and cost schedule preparation.
• Attention to detail in maintaining project records.
