Project Engineer

About the role

The Project Engineer will lead engineering projects within a manufacturing facility, overseeing each phase from design to hand‑over. The role ensures projects meet schedule, budget, quality and safety requirements while coordinating cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans covering scope, timeline, and budget.
• Coordinate activities across Production, Maintenance, Quality, and Procurement departments.
• Supervise installation and commissioning of new equipment and production lines.
• Prepare regular technical reports to monitor progress and performance.
• Ensure compliance with ISO, HSE and other safety and quality standards.
• Manage relationships with external contractors and suppliers.
• Troubleshoot technical issues that arise during execution.
• Support continuous‑improvement and cost‑reduction initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience managing engineering projects in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong time‑management, negotiation and communication abilities.
• Fluent English, essential for international operations.
• PMP certification is a plus.
