Project Leader

About the role

As a Project Leader you will own the end‑to‑end execution of medium‑complexity projects, from contract award through to close‑out. Working with internal teams, clients and external parties you will be accountable for delivering on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards, and you may stand in for the Project Manager when required.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all contract administration, including summaries, review comments, execution activities and claim calculations.
• Identify, document and coordinate project claims and variations, quote them with the Commercial Team and obtain management approval.
• Maintain and update the contract baseline and project plan after client approval of quotations or claims.
• Lead project execution in line with contract terms and company procedures, reviewing and approving schedules, monitoring progress and reporting delays.
• Control training schedules, issue release‑for‑production requests and manage formal project close‑out.
• Prepare and issue client project reports, internal fortnightly reports and minutes of meetings.
• Represent the company in external meetings, ensure proper distribution of correspondence and follow escalation policies.
• Identify and escalate NCRs, capture lessons learned and support continuous‑improvement actions.

Required profile

• Ability to stand in for the Project Manager when required.
• Strong communication and coordination across internal teams, clients and external parties.
• Experience in managing medium‑complexity projects from award to close‑out.
