Project Manager - Components

About the role

ABB is looking for a Project Manager for its Components business in Egypt, reporting to the EG Components Business Manager. The role leads the execution of medium-sized projects, ensuring they follow procedures, regulations, standards, specifications and targets, and delivers contracted deliverables on time. It is an onsite position.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the project team, set the execution approach and oversee planning, monitoring and control of internal and external resources.
• Monitor project progress, resource use and project finances.
• Identify, qualify and manage project risks and opportunities.
• Drive formal acceptance, contract close-out and customer acknowledgment in line with the contract.

Required profile

• 5 to 8 years of project management experience, preferably delivering electrical products or in multinational companies, managing projects worth 5 million USD per year.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial or Mechatronics (preferable).
• Fluent English; French is an advantage.
• Experience in international markets is an advantage.

Required skills

• PMP certification.
• Extensive knowledge of SAP (an advantage).
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and MS Project (a must).
