Project Manager – Engineering & Procurement (Heavy Industry)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex Engineering & Procurement (EP) projects in heavy‑industrial environments such as plants, mines, steel and concrete structures, conveyors, and large machinery. You will be the single point of contact for clients, internal design teams, external consultants, OEMs, and site stakeholders, responsible for full project delivery from engineering through commissioning.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of EP projects, managing multidisciplinary in‑house and external teams.
• Own the project schedule using MS Project, defining milestones, critical path and progress tracking.
• Control budgets, cash flow and cost reporting to senior leadership.
• Oversee technical design reviews ensuring compliance with client specifications, safety and industry standards.
• Coordinate procurement activities (RFQs, vendor selection, techno‑commercial evaluation) for machinery, equipment and plant systems.
• Conduct client meetings, project reviews, progress updates and commercial negotiations.
• Identify and mitigate risks, variations, delays and claim opportunities.
• Ensure QA/QC, HSE and regulatory compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage documentation, submittals, approvals and support on‑site mobilization, installation planning and commissioning interfaces.

Required profile

• 10–12 years of project management experience in heavy industry, EPC, EP, OEM or systems integration.
• Proven track record delivering complex engineering and procurement scopes on time and within budget.
• Strong commercial awareness including cost control, contracts, variations, claims and invoicing.
• Technical exposure to industrial plants, mining facilities, steel structures, material‑handling systems and large rotating/static equipment.
