Project Manager

About the role

Nativechips is looking for a Project Manager to coordinate multiple parallel ASIC programs, manage partner‑engineer engagements, and act as the operational backbone of a fast‑growing team. You will keep schedules honest, track deliverables, and free founders from day‑to‑day coordination work.

Key responsibilities

• Own program‑level schedules and dependencies for active IDM projects.
• Coordinate with partner engineering teams, handling contractor SOWs, status updates, and escalations.
• Run sprint planning, status reporting, and program reviews.
• Manage cross‑team dependencies between ASIC, AI, platform, and AMS R&D groups.
• Maintain program‑level customer communication, including status reports and milestone reviews.

Required profile

• 5+ years of project or program management experience in technical environments.
• Hardware/semiconductor industry experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
• Ability to hold senior engineers accountable to commitments.
• Strong organizational skills for schedules, dependencies, and risk tracking.

Required skills

• ASIC design lifecycle knowledge (RTL, tape‑out, silicon).
• Project Management methodologies (PMP, PRINCE2) – bonus if certified.

What we offer

• Direct impact on product direction and engineering culture from day one.
• Work alongside a senior, founder‑led team with deep semiconductor expertise.
• Cairo‑based engineering team with US headquarters; remote‑friendly working model.
• Competitive compensation with meaningful stock options for early hires.
• Opportunity to solve technically substantial problems, not routine maintenance.
