Project Manager / Senior Project Manager

About the role

The Project Manager (or Senior Project Manager) will lead local change initiatives and act as the implementation lead for larger, group‑wide projects within a banking environment. You will ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget, while complying with the bank’s governance frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Assess business needs, develop business cases and define project scope, objectives and governance.
• Create and maintain detailed project plans, monitor milestones and track budgets.
• Coordinate resources across business units, IT teams and external stakeholders.
• Lead project teams, including staff assigned on a project basis.
• Identify and escalate risks or issues to maintain project momentum.
• Present updates and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Ensure compliance with the bank’s project management policies and frameworks.
• Support local initiatives that contribute to strategic transformation and operational improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Information Systems or related field.
• 4‑7 years of experience for Project Manager level (at least 3 years in project management) or 8‑11 years for Senior Project Manager level (at least 6 years in project management).
• Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities.
• Proven capacity to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.
• Experience working with cross‑functional teams and coordinating resources across departments.
