About the role
As a Project Procurement Manager you will lead strategic sourcing initiatives across Siemens Energy’s Gas Services sites in Egypt. You will work closely with cross‑site teams to optimise supplier relationships, drive cost competitiveness and support the company’s mission of sustainable, reliable energy solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Act as the primary escalation point for site procurement teams, providing guidance and support.
- Review and approve O&M purchase orders in line with company policies.
- Lead contractual negotiations for pooled‑demand initiatives across multiple sites.
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies that maximise value through demand aggregation.
- Manage strategic supplier relationships, driving performance and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and implement procurement improvement opportunities.
Required profile
- Proven experience in procurement management and strategic sourcing.
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful contract management.
- Ability to analyse spend data and develop category strategies for various commodities.
- Excellent relationship‑building skills with stakeholders and suppliers.
- Knowledge of procurement compliance and governance standards.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities to address complex procurement challenges.
