Protection and Control Engineer

About the role

The Protection and Control Engineer is responsible for monitoring and operating security systems to safeguard people and assets. The role involves rapid response to alerts, detailed reporting, and coordination with internal teams to ensure compliance with security standards.

Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly to security system alerts and escalate incidents to management as needed.
• Operate and monitor CCTV, access‑control, intrusion‑detection, and fire‑alarm systems to maintain continuous protection.
• Prepare and submit daily operational reports covering activities, incidents, and system performance.
• Oversee BU coordinators, conduct random inspections across branches, and verify system compliance.
• Supervise inspections of individuals and vehicles, ensuring proper protocols.
• Identify, document, and report security violations or incidents for timely resolution.
• Coordinate with internal departments on security‑related matters and monitor security personnel via CCTV.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, safety standards, and security regulations.

Required profile

• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Strong communication, reporting, and documentation abilities.
• Good working knowledge of IT systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Willingness to work an 8‑hour night shift (10:00 PM – 06:00 AM) with one day off per week (Friday).
