Public Area Attendant

About the role

The Public Area Attendant ensures that all public spaces of Rixos Premium Seagate are clean, safe, and welcoming for guests. Working across restaurants, bars, lobbies, corridors, and banquet areas, you will maintain high standards of hygiene and presentation in a luxury hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all public areas, including lobbies, corridors, restaurants, bars, and ballrooms.
• Vacuum, shampoo carpets, mop floors, and treat marble surfaces.
• Wash windows, clean chairs, curtains, and furniture; arrange and move furniture as needed.
• Empty garbage, handle lost‑and‑found items, and report any suspicious packages or persons.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment, ensuring proper usage and safety.
• Assist with room preparation when required and support emergency response teams.
• Participate in environmental initiatives such as energy saving and waste reduction.

Required profile

• Clean, friendly, and hygienic personal presentation.
• Willingness to attend vocational and safety training.
• Familiarity with security and protection methods.
• Ability to follow instructions from senior staff and report breakdowns promptly.
• Commitment to environmental best practices within the hotel.

Required skills

• Operation of cleaning equipment (vacuum cleaners, floor scrubbers, carpet shampooers).
• Window cleaning techniques.
• Carpet and floor care, including mopping and polishing.
• Marble surface treatment.
