Public Area Attendant

About the role

We are looking for a diligent Public Area Attendant to join the housekeeping team at Rixos Premium Seagate, a luxury resort in Sharm El Sheikh. The role involves maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of all public spaces, ensuring guests enjoy a pristine environment throughout their stay.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and maintain public areas including lobbies, restaurants, bars, corridors, ballrooms and changing rooms.
• Perform window washing, carpet cleaning, floor mopping, marble surface treatment and dusting of walls, ceilings and curtains.
• Vacuum chairs, carpets and upholstery, arrange furniture and ensure all cleaning equipment is in good working order.
• Collect and dispose of waste, transport housekeeping supplies from storage, and handle lost‑and‑found items according to procedure.
• Report any suspicious objects, security concerns or equipment breakdowns to senior staff promptly.
• Participate in vocational training, emergency response teams and environmental initiatives such as energy and waste reduction.
